Over the past two weeks, Overwatch fans witnessed more than 1,200 teams across North America and Europe competing for spots in the group stage of Overwatch Contenders Season Zero. After the dust settled, the top 16 teams were left to forge ahead and continue on a path to the Overwatch Contenders championship. The seeding - based on the performances of the final eight teams in each Open Qualifier - is below:

These teams are moving on to Season Zero’s group stage, where each region’s 16 teams will be split into four groups of four teams. The teams in a group will compete in a double round robin format, playing each of their opponents twice over the next two weeks. At the end of the group stage, the top two teams per group will move on to the Overwatch Contenders Season Zero Playoffs on July 1-2, where a USD $50,000 prize pool is up for grabs per region.
